If you are detained, as a federal prisoner, you are held in the custody of the United States Marshal. The Marshal’s office will determine which facility you will be held at during the course of your case. You will be able to call your attorney collect from the facility and will be transported by the Marshal service as necessary for hearings or attorney visits. You will be able to call your attorney collect from any one of these facilities and your attorney will be able to schedule phone calls or video visits with you.
